MK Elkin: 'Hamas wants quiet in Gaza—we want the same'

A member of the Israeli Security Cabinet, Ze'ev Elkin (Likud), referred to the ceasefire talks with Hamas and said that "an arrangement with the organization is currently not on the agenda."

In an interview with Ynet, Elkin added that "Hamas wants to go back in time, three months back, to a reality of calm and quiet in the Gaza Strip, we are willing to do that."
