Two shooting incidents of Palestinians to be examined

The military prosecution has decided to launch a criminal investigation into the matter of two shooting incidents that took place during the violent riots on the Gaza border fence.

In one of the incidents which took place at the end of March, a Palestinian holding a burning tire while running towards the border fence was shot dead.

In the second shooting incident in July, a Palestinian teen was shot dead by a Givati force.

The decision to hold an investigation was reached after a comprehensive examination conducted by the Joint General Military Staff investigation mechanism.
