Assad to Iranian defense minister: ‘Continued coordination between countries is very important’

During a visit by Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami Sunday, Syrian President Bashar Assad stressed the importance of continued coordination between the two countries. He also addressed American policy vis-à-vis the Iranian nuclear program and the sanctions imposed on Russia which in his view justify the strategy of the “axis of opposition” countries.
