Hamas: 'We are backed by a national consensus'

Hamas' spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanou referred to recent cease-fire talks and said that the organization's measures are backed by "a national consensus."

"We will not sign an agreement that includes territorial concessions or recognition of Israel. The Palestinian resistance will continue to be on its guard," he added.

Regarding reconciliation efforts with Fatah, the spokesperson called Fatah "to put an end to security coordination, lift the sanctions on Gaza, and continue working towards a future partnership," he concluded.
