The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics reported that 1,899,291 people lived in the Gaza Strip in 2017, 50.7% of whom were men and 49.3% were women.
According to the bureau, Gaza residents constitute 39.7% of the overall Palestinian Authority's population.
