US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu about Syria on Tuesday.
The two agreed any Assad military offensive in Idlib would be unacceptable and reckless.
Pompeo highlighted the importance of releasing US Pastor Andrew Brunson, and both committed to continued discussions to resolve the matter.
