40-year-old man stabbed in the terrorist attack in Gush Etzion

A stabbing attack occurred at the entrance to a shopping mall in Gush Etzion intersection on Sunday.

The victim,44,  is in critical medical condition and was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The hospital says he is anesthetized and connected to breathing machines.

The terrorist who was shot and neutralized by a civilian is a 16-year-old boy from Yatta, a Palestinian city south of Hebron from which many terrorists have emerged in recent years.

The assailant's condition is unclear.

Security forces are conducting searches at the mall's entrance, in order to rule out the possibility of another terrorist.
