Russia: downing of the plane will not affect Russia-Turkey agreement on Idlib

The Kremlin said Tuesday that the downing of the Russian aircraft by Syria's air defense systems would not affect the agreement signed with Turkey on the Idlib issue.

Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, on Tuesday called the deal "a landmark and crucial agreement for Syria's future" and said the shooting down of the plane will have no impact on that deal.
