Netanyahu leaves for UN General Assembly

On the backdrop of tensions raised between Russia and Israel following the downing of the Russian plane by Syrian fire attempting to intercept an Israeli attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will depart Tuesday for New York to attend the UN General Assembly.

Netanyahu is expected to deliver a speech before the assembly on Thursday at 9:15pm.

Associates of the prime minister said Netanyahu is expected to reveal information regarding Iran during his speech.
