Obama's $38bn aid package to Israel goes into effet

A $38 billion aid package signed between Israel and the US during the Obama administration went into effect on Tuesday.
White House spokeswoman Heather Nauert said that $3.8 billion would be injected into the Israeli military every year over the next ten years in accordance with the terms of the agreement that was signed in September 2016.
The deal was the largest ever delivered by the US to any country in its history.
