The Israel Police arrested two suspects, a father and his son, early Wednesday on suspicion they bribed employees in the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in return for bid rigging.
Investigators at the Lahav 433 anti-fraud unit suspect the two promised IAI employees a cut of the profits from any bid they help them rig, in addition to other illegal benefits.
The IAI said that "the investigation was launched at the initiative of the IAI, which provided its findings on the matter to the relevant bodies. At present, the company has no knowledge of suspicions against any of its employees."
