IPS arrests two suspects attempting to smuggle phones

The Israel Prison Service (IPS) arrested Saturday a man and a woman, residents of Lod, on suspicion of trying to smuggle cell phones into Nafha security prison in Mitzpe Ramon.
The suspects were arrested with several other cell phones in their possession, a large amount of cash, and intelligence information written on paper.
The IPS is investigating whether terror organization are behind the smuggling attempt. The suspects, one of whom under house arrest, had been taken to the police station for questioning.
