Lieberman submits Kochavi candidacy to appointment committee

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman submitted to the appointment committee Sunday his candidate for the position of the next IDF chief of staff—Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi.
"Maj. Gen. Kochavi is the most suitable and worthy candidate for the position of the chief of staff," the defense minister said.
