Erdan names Moshe (Chico) Edri as next police commissioner

Deputy Commissioner (res.) Moshe (Chico) Edri will be the next chief of police, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan announced Friday afternoon.
Edri's appointment will be brought to the government for approval pending the approval of the advisory appointments committee headed by Judge Eliezer Goldberg.
Edri currently serves as the director-general of the Public Security Ministry.
