Khalil Nimri, a resident of east Jerusalem who was acquitted in 2017 of planning to plant a bomb in a hotel in Eilat, is suing for compensation over his arrest and to cover his defense expenses.
"The court's ruling speaks for itself," according to Nimri's request for compensation, which was submitted to the Be'er Sheva District Court.
