The Knesset plenum approved Monday in its first reading the "Loyalty in Culture" Law initiated by Minister of Culture and Sports Miri Regev.
Fifty-five MKs voted in favor of the bill and 44 objected to the amendment to the Culture and Art Law meant to deprive budgets from subsidized bodies who "undermine" the values and symbols of the state.
