Report: Abbas to accept Israel-Hamas understandings

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has agreed to accept the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Hamas, under the condition the arrangement would honor the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement reached after Operation Protective Edge, and would not include political provisions, according to London-based Al Hayat newspaper.

Hamas and Fatah delegations are expected to arrive in Cairo next week to resume reconciliation talks.
