Lieberman thanks IDF, says ‘it was an honor’

The resigning Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman thanked the IDF on Wednesday evening in a Tweet, and said that “It was an honor and a privilege to be your Defence Minister.”
Lieberman added: “I send strength to the residents of the south, who have been demonstrating personal and civilian courage. You are the true pioneers of our times. My heart is with the families of the prisoners and of the missing.”
