El Al airline announced Monday that it would compensate 400 passengers, who flew from New York to Israel last week, and were delayed due to a snowstorm on the East Coast, landing in Athens to avoid Shabbat desecration.
The passengers will receive a round-trip ticket to Europe.
Moreover, El Al said neither the secular nor the religious public are responsible of the incident, while fully backing up its crew.
