Cabinet approves NIS 700 million aid plan to southern communities

The Security Cabinet approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's NIS 700 million plan to strengthen civilian resilience in Sderot and in additional Israeli communities near the Gaza border in 2019-2020.
The proposal was submitted after Netanyahu had met with Gaza-adjacent council heads on November 15th, along with Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Interior Minister Aryeh Deri.
