Hundreds attend Simcha Rotem's funeral

Hundreds attended on Monday the funeral of Simcha (Kazik) Rotem, the last surviving fighter from the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto uprising by Jewish partisans against the Nazis, who died Saturday aged 94.

Rotem was be laid to rest in Kibbutz Harel.

In addition to many Israeli politicians, who came to show their last respects, a special Polish delegation was also in attendance.
