PM: New Right party can destroy the right wing bloc

Speaking to reporters in Brazil Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the New Right party formed by former Bayit Yehudi MK’s Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked has the potential to “shatter the right wing bloc into fragments of parties that will not pass the electoral threshold." Netanyahu added: "I am aware that the new party is endangering a lot of parties and I will examine and do everything in my power so that the right-wing bloc will preserve its power."
Netanyahu’s statement was met with a response from the new party: “We will not be dragged into attacks by the prime minister against us. We are restoring the mandates that have abandoned the Likud and preventing them from being taken by the left bloc of Gantz, Lapid, Orly Levy and we invite the prime minister to join us in this task.”
