Supreme Court to hear petitions against Nationality Law in expanded panel of 11 judges

Supreme Court President Justice Esther Hayut ordered that the hearing of petitions against the Nationality Law be heard by an expanded panel of 11 High Court justices.

A number of petitions were submitted by Knesset members as well as by Adalah and the Association for Civil Rights in Israel. Hayut also instructed that the date of the hearing be delayed and ordered the state to respond to the petition by March 12.
