Russia: We are not interfering in Israeli elections, don't read Israeli media

Russia denies any involvement in alleged interference in the upcoming Israeli elections, with a senior Moscow official saying that people should not read the Israeli media.
The comments come a day after the Israeli media quoted Shin Bet chief Nadav Argaman as warning against the meddling of a foreign country in the April 9 elections, saying the move could influence the elections' outcome.
"Russia is not intefering and does not intend to interfere in the elections in any country in the world," says Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Paskov, according to Russian daily Izvestia. The newspaper also quotes Paskov as saying that people should "not read the Israeli media."
