IDF: fewer suicides in 2018

The IDF is reporting that 2018 saw fewer suicides by servicemen compared with previous years. There were 43 suicides in 2018 compared with 55 the previous year. The IDF believes that a new regulation banning taking one’s personal weapon home during time off, unless necessary, helped spur the decline.
