Arab media: Israel requested Egypt to reopen Rafah Crossing

The defense establishment has requested Egypt to reopen the Rafah Crossing in both directions, the Al-Arabi al-Jadeed newspaper cited an Egyptian source as saying.
The source added that Israel's request stems from its concern that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza would lead to resumed violence along the border.
