Mtanes Shehadeh elected new Balad chairman

The Balad Party, which is part of the Joint Arab List, elected Mtanes Shehadeh to be the new chairman Saturday, replacing Jamal Zahalka.
Balad’s chair Zahalka and MK Hanin Zoabi have both decided not to run for another term in the upcoming April elections.
