Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin before the April 9 elections.
Netanyahu and Putin's last meeting was held on November 11 on the sidelines of the conference marking 100 years to the end of World War I in Paris.
The Russian president was reluctant to meet with Netanyahu against the backdrop of Israeli attacks in Syria.
