Trump names Elan Carr for State Department’s envoy for anti-Semitism

Los Angeles prosecutor Elan Carr is to be the next US State Department’s envoy for anti-Semitism, reported the JTA Tuesday.
Carr is a Jewish-American Army veteran who served in Iraq, and will be taking on a role that has been unmanned for the past two years, despite Jewish protest.
