Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday evening he won’t form a government with the Israel Resilience Party, headed by former IDF chief Benny Gantz, for the first time since Gantz joined the race.
“I’ll form a Likud- led national government, a rightists government,” the PM said during a meeting with religious groups in Jerusalem. He then called upon all the small rightists parties to unite forces ahead of the April elections, in order to prevent losing right-leaning votes to parties who won’t win seats in the next Knesset.
The Israel Resilience Party responded: “We will form a Zionist government that will replace Netanyahu.”
