Jordanian FM demands Israel reopen Temple Mount

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemned the closing of the Temple Mount’s Gate of Mercy leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque claiming that it is a violation of the status quo. The gate was closed earlier for three hours after some Muslim congregants tried to force their way into the complex and were arrested.
