Education Minister Naftali Bennett demanded from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday hold an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss the security situation in southern Israel.
"Israel needs a full-time defense minister, and if Tel Aviv was hit by a missile, they would have immediately solved the situation," Bennett said, adding that the IDF must present an operational plan would bring quiet to the residents of the south.
