121 in need of medical treatment for excessive drinking over the Purim holiday

Israel's emergency services treated 121 people across the country for excessive alcohol consumption during the Purim holiday celebrations.

The festival, which is seen as the most uninhibited in the Jewish calendar, officially started Wednesday night, but Israelis often begin partying days earlier.
