UN envoy condemns rocket fire, calls for both sides to deescalate

UN special envoy to the region Nickolay Mladenov condemns the rocket fire on Israel from Gaza, and calls for both sides to calm the situation.
"I condemn the continuing launching of rockets from Gaza," Mladenov writes on Twitter. "Enough Palestinian and Israeli lives have been lost, people injured, houses damaged and destroyed! It is time to de-escalate and return to the understandings of the past few months before it is too late."
