IDF Chief of Staff: 'we'll strengthen IDF's offensive capacity'
Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi said Thursday during an honor medal ceremony for distinguished soldiers that the IDF means to "strengthen its offensive capacity" and "improve military readiness."
Kochavi spoke during the Independence Day traditional ceremony, in which the President Reuven Rivlin awarded honors of excellency to 120 outstanding IDF soldiers, who made a significant contribution to their country during their service.
