Netanyahu: We've designated land on Golan Heights for town named after Trump

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told ministers Sunday, at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting, that a location for a new community, to be named after US President Donald Trump is already designated.

Netanyahu promised to name a new town after the US president as a sign of gratitude for his recognition of Israeli sovereignty of the Golan Heights, captured from Syria in the 1967 war.
