Hotline activated to match evacuees with hosts in wake of fires

The Ministry for Social Equality is activating an emergency hotline Friday between 8:00 and 12:00 for families that want to accommodate senior citizens evacuated from their homes because of the wildfires. In order to do so dial: *8840.
The wildfires on Thursday forced the evacuation of residents in towns in southern Israel as well as towns near Jerusalem.
