AG rejects Netanyahu request to delay pre-indictment hearing

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit rejects a fresh request from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to delay a hearing before any indictments in three corruption investigations.
Mandelblitt says fresh elections are not a just reason to postpone the hearing. The hearing is set for early October, just weeks after Israel goes to the polls for the second time this year.
Judicial sources say Netanyahu will likely now appeal the decision in the High Court.
