Meretz chair says her party 'won't be Netanyahu's life line'
Meretz Party Chair Tamar Zandberg slammed Tuesday the Likud Party's offer to cancel the September 17 elections, saying her party "will not serve as Netanyahu's life line."
"It's amazing to see how Netanyahu uses Israel like his private toy. Just a month ago he turned the world upside down to declare elections, and now when he realized that the public is fed up with his games, he turns the other way around," said Zandberg.
"I call on all opposition members, don't reach out to Netanyahu," she added.
