Police shoot East Jerusalem man who fired fireworks at them

An East Jerusalem man was shot by police after he fired fireworks at them in the area.
The 22-year-old resident of the village of Isawiya, named by police as Mohammed Samir, was taken to Hadassah University Hospital, Mount Scopus in critical condition.
Palestinian sources later said that Samir had died of the wounds sustained in the shooting.
