Jerusalem District court in landmark ruling found the Palestinian Authority responsible for 17 separate attacks on Israelis carried out by PLO, Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants during the second Intifada, in the early 2000s.
Victims of the attacks can now sue for damages calculated at up to NIS1 billion.
Chairman of the Shurat Hadin Law Center who filed the suit, called the ruling "a historic victory" adding "this proves the Intifada was a war waged against citizens of Israel."
