Rivlin participates in celebration for Egyptian Independence Day

President Reuven Rivlin participated Wednesday evening in a celebration for Egypt's 66th Independence Day in the Herzliya home of the Egyptian ambassador to Israel Khaled Azmi.
"Egypt has a central role in our region, and the Egyptian leadership is expressing responsible conduct every day in Gaza," Rivlin said.
"This leadership comes with a lot of power, and I wish all of us that it will be used to promote peace, freedom and equality," Rivlin concluded.
