PARALIMNI, Cyprus -- A Cyprus court postpones a custody hearing for the 19-year-old British woman who admitted inventing her accusation that 12 Israeli teens raped her at the popular resort town of Ayia Napa.
The woman faces a public nuisance charge after she confessed to falsifying her allegation.
Paralimni court judge Tonia Antoniou orders the one-day postponement because the woman's lawyer is abroad.
The woman will remain in police custody until Tuesday's court appearance because she poses a flight risk, the state-run Cyprus News Agency says.
