All Likud candidates sign commitment to support only Netanyahu

The Likud party says all its candidates for Knesset have signed a commitment to support only Benjamin Netanyahu as their party leader after the September elections.

The move came after former political ally Avigdor Liberman suggested Likud appoint an alternative candidate to head its list of Knesset candidates since Netanyahu could be rejected by possible coalition partners over his multiple corruption investigations.
