Woman's body found in Sydney after knife rampage

The body of a woman has been found in central Sydney, local media says, shortly after a knife-wielding man was arrested in the Australian city for trying to stab people.

Police say it is unclear whether the two incidents are connected.

A witness told reporters that the man was screaming comments about religion, before yelling to police that he wanted to be shot. Police said he used the Arabic phrase "Allahu akbar."

One woman was wounded in the attack and hospitalized.
