Border Police detains Palestinians who triad to illegally cross into Israel to visit beach
Border and Military Police forces stationed in the A'Zaim crossing, outside Jerusalem, stopped a bus carrying 56 Palestinians Thursday, after they tried to cross into Israel without fitting permits in order to visit the beach.
The 56 men, women and children, some of whom from Ramallah, were detained for further questioning.
The Border Police said that they frequently handle Palestinian attempts to illegally enter Israel for various reasons, and that "people who enter illegally could be involved in criminal or terror threats."
