Foreign Ministry: We're in contact with Ethiopian officials, trying to locate missing Israeli youth

The Foreign Ministry on Saturday said they are in constant contact with the Ethiopian authorities in order to locate the 21-year-old Aya Naamneh who had been declared missing on Friday in the Danakil salt desert in Ethiopia.

Naamneh was on tour in the country organized by Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where she is studying, and apparently lost her way during a hiking trip and did not reach the meeting point.
