IDF fires on Israeli light aircraft, fearing infiltration from Syria
IDF troops on the Golan Heights briefly opened fire Wednesday evening at an Israeli civilian light aircraft that was being used for aerial photography.
The IDF said that the soldiers were suspicious that the plane had infiltrated from Syria, but once it became clear that it was an Israeli aircraft, they stopped firing.
There were no injuries sustained in the incident.
