Telegrass founder's remand extended as riot breaks out in courtroom

The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court extended once more the arrest of Telegrass founder Amos Dov Silver by 10 days.

The police requested to extend the detention by 15 days to complete its investigation into the online marijuana distribution network via instant messaging app Telegram.

At the conclusion of the hearing a riot ensued, during which protesters shouted at police: "they have blood on their hands". One of the protesters collapsed and was evacuated by emergency services. The protestor is reported to be well.
