Netanyahu welcomes U.S. sanctions against Lebanese bank that assisted Hezbollah

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed on Thursday the U.S. government decision to sanction Lebanese bank which assisted the Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah.

"It is an important step meant to put pressure on Iran and its helpers, which are operating against the State of Israel," said Netanyahu. 

Netanyahu has also called for other countries to act against "Iranian aggression in the Middle East".
